One players perspective who just signed with the team..

Ireland's probably a jerk, sure. But it's pretty funny the way there's a sudden coordinated dogpile on him and suddenly he's the worst human being in the world and solely responsible for the Dolphins' troubles, and the sole reason we haven't been able to land those big names.

Yeah, because I'm sure the decision to publicly grope Harbaugh, Fisher and Manning was Ireland's call. That clearly fits with his tight-lipped, ******* MO.

Steve Ross is a blistering idiot as well, if that's what you're trying to say...

My problem with that argument is that players around the league get cut all the time, yet you never hear them come out publicly blast the GM. So what has made 3 players now in the last 6 months come out and criticize Ireland and blame him for the teams woes?

Fact is Nubs, this is not a common situation. When it was just Crowder, you could pass it off to bitterness. But now we have two more in the last few days and at a time where the best QB we could bring in was Garrard after wiffing on Manning, Flynn and Smith. And Garrard wasn't excatly too excited to join the team last year either.

I dont care what peoples positions' on Ireland are, whether they like him or not. But to me, there is no smoke without fire.

It's called Twitter. I know it existed say a year ago but it wasn't as popular then as it is now.

Some players lack professionalism by coming out unprovoked and saying stuff about Ireland. If Ireland is this or that then fine, but keep it to yourself, represent your organisation with some class. Ryan Clark would not have made those comments in a press interview, so why do it on Twitter?

Of course he enjoyed speaking with us, he is old, out of shape, with back problems and had zero interest around the NFL. It's like settling for the ugly chick in the Bar at the end of the night after striking out all night.

But everyone knows he would make an outstanding Mentor for a Rookie lol, hahahah
Chubbs

Try not to use common sense and go into deductive reasoning around here. Its a concept that goes over too many peoples heads.

LMAO, I dont think people watch football... WITH CHRONIC PAIN IN HIS BACK, DAVID GARRARD ACCOUNTED FOR 28 TDS IN 14 GAMES. HE'S WON A PLAYOFF GAME, HAS A BIG ARM, ACCURATE. HE'S THE PERFECT COMPETITION AND STOP GAP FOR THE DOLPHINS. Stop acting like we have the worst set of qbs ever.. this is the best shape this football team has been in, in over 10 years. A GREAT YOUNG DEFENSE, and have the key positions locked up on the offensive line.

I don't think we have a great defense but I agree that people are acting a little batty.

What does Garrard know? Ryan Clark and Joey Porter, who haven't had any contact with the front office in over two years knows more than Garrard who was in contact less than 24 hours ago. Porter and Crowder got cut because of big cap numbers and declining play, they are definitely not bitter.
Certainly not listening to Crowder and Porter, but are you denying somthing is wrong in the front office?

My opinion? Jeff Ireland has no people skills. He's also failed to bring us a top-flight QB, which earns him a failing grade in my book regardless of how many value DLs he's picked up.

Unfortunately I'm starting to think that the real problem is all the way at the top, with Steve Ross insisting that our organization very publicly and very drunkenly grope every single 'star' that becomes available.

Now, given Jeff's penchant for acorns, Steve's penchant for stars could have been a good thing, but the problem is that Ross lacks discretion and Ireland is socially retarded. They're talking now about building through the draft, and that's good, because being a social retard doesn't hurt your ability to draft kids out of college.
