One Scout's view of Dolphins

"The only question with him is if he can stay healthy. Yeah, that's a question on every team. But I look at the Dolphins and it's not just Moreno. I'd be crossing my fingers all year."

I fundamentally disagree with this opinion above. The Dolphins problem is that - if one of their slightly above average players goes down - we've got another slightly above average player to plug right in. Occasionally it might be a slightly average or even slightly below average guy, but somebody else on the unit who is a little more slightly above average will compensate for him.

What we need is a little sprinkle of elite. Maybe just two guys to add to the 53 who would make 31 other teams go "man, I wish we had that kid". But we would cut him for no return the following season, so there's probably no point.

I know Landry made me giggle like a school girl last night...

And here's how you know he is for real: even dlockz actually says nice things about him....

Pretty much sums up the last several years of this team. Never take a chance on someone who could turn out to be good when you can keep a guy who is definitely average.

Was funny to hear on the radio, Channing Crowder said that the day before Donald Thomas got cut, Bill Parcells waddled up out of his golf cart and asked Crowder and another linebacker which offensive lineman had really stood out to them. They both said "Man that Thomas guy is pretty good, coach, he's tough."

They cut him that week.

I hope Belichick blitzes his ass off.

Ryan Tannehill was great against the blitz the last couple of years. He's been awful when teams have dropped 7-8 guys into coverage and still been able to get pressure on him.

Belechick is going to sit back and cover. Maybe things change with Revis but Belechick is not a big blitzer.

Yep. Even if he was a blitzer, he doesn't really have players that are good blitzers.
