It's very clear this board is divided on most things Dolphins, but I think we can all come together around one thing

FRANKS NEEDS TO GO!

It baffles me why this guy is still around. His long on the year is 41 yards, that's almost inconceivable. Then not only that, but his FG% still is below average with only short kicks. We consistely give up 50 yd FG attempts becahsd we cant even trust him. He is a total liability. Hes so bad that I miss Sturgis.
 
best thing you can say about him is he doesn't miss extra points. certainly a position that could use an upgrade. sucks that gould was out there until recently
 
Franks is the least of my worries right now.. Our "pro-bowler" star MLB is the biggest liability in coverage even if he is having a pro-bowl season. But who did we play with a winning record to exploit our weaknesses?

You do realize that Alonso missed much of the game, right?
 
Franks has cost us a game, i.e., the Seattle game. Basically, his WAR is -1. We could be 8-4 with a solid kicker.

If we have to put a day three draft pick on kicker, so be it. We need the next Stoyo or Mare.
 
no draft picks on a kicker please, look at the 3rd round pick in tampa, free agency all the way even the last damn pick in the draft is a waste imo
 
Not sure what he does all week. Sure doesn't look like he practices. He should have made that kick. He's just one more thing the team needs to worry about. He's injured or something. He'd used to kick the ball out of the endzone automatic. Now he kicks it to the 2. Not sure if that's by design, but he is struggling.
 
I will say this - he doesn't burry the KO consistently or make FG beyond 40 with consistently either, wouldn't be surprised if they move on from him in the offseason.
 
Is there any chance they move away from him in near future........look at what a weapon Prater from Lions is and needless to say 'Tucker of the Ravens. This guy is beyond a liability.......but doesn't surprise me, never been a fan of special teams coach Ricci, and his judgement.
 
I say cut Franks and Hull or Lippett this week. Then go on another six game win streak.

I see your Cam Wake, and raise you Suh! He will scare that ball over the uprights! We need more fat guys kicking...and returning kicks...WE MUST BE ENTERTAINED! :brewskis:
