One things for sure... December Collapses Will Be No More.

i agree with the logic of not killing your players for practice. let them be fresh and rested for the game. tackling bulldozers like ricky or ronnie cannot be healthy for you. besides saban has done this for years and it has worked and bb does it too.

Thanks FiN.in.RI - that was a good read. The more I read about Saban, the more I believe that Saban will turn the team around.

I think that his philosophy on not holding a "full contact" practice may provide a side benefit in the long run, such as more discipline, since the players must control themselves more during practice.

Regards,

I think it's a great philosophy and I'm sure the players think so too.

IMO it will keep their stamina up AND their morale up for late season runs.

No offense, but you guys won't be in a position to collapse when December rolls around...we'll see how much has changed in 2006 though.

Bro we hope you and the rest of the AFC East think that way, so when we play the role of the spoiler it will be that much better! Good luck to you in 2005, except when you play the Dolphins!

I got to give you a thumbs up! The reason why is that you are a donator here at Finheaven. I appreciate that! I am sure that AJ uses the money the best way possible to keep the site up and running!

I would be very happy to be a better team in December than in September. That has been our problem for years upon years. It's not just being pysically whipped but we get sloppy too. Penalties, concentration lapses, bad coaching and collapse. Maybe no more, we will see.

I think we'll be better in december than any other month. Once we have everyone in place and the players gel. Hopefully we'll see the biggest change at QB, or the offensive line. But it all remains to be seen I guess

I see what your saying and I might agree but who knows what can happen this season.

Anyway it's not really about THIS season, it's about every season from here on out. If we are in a position to make a December Collapse in the future I doubt a Saban run team will fold - Either late in the season OR late in games for that matter.

No offense taken, it's why they play the game. Anything can happen. I'm sure you wrote off SD last year like everyone else.

As a first year starter the Bills arent asking Losman to be a star or a leader. They just need him to keep mistakes to a minimum. He's got a good supporting cast around him that know he needs them more than they need him. Oughta be fun to watch if anything else.

Yeah, Jimmy Johnson and Dave Wannstedt thought they were doing things to keep guys tough in December, too. We'll see.
