Thats right folks, just one more win and Saban will have improved the overall record of this team in just one season. All that with the fact that 90% of the staff is new and the players we replaced last year have been good additions. All the Gus sucks, Nick sucks, Linehan sucks , yet here we are just one win away from last year. Last time I checked I don't ever remember reading a coach being fired over improving a team so all you Saban bashers will have to save it for another year. :goof:
 
I can understand the Gus sucks threads, but not the Saban ones. When Saban gets some players in here, we will be very good and fun to watch.

I don't understand the Gus sucks, it's not like we had Marino before Gus arrived. Gus has plaed very well here and he has done his part in most of the games this year. Every QB has bad games during the season, but it doesn't mean they suck. I would rather have 10 Gus's, then 1 Jay!!

My faith in Saban has never wavered. In fact, with each successive LOSS I have become MORE convinced that he will return this Organization to a perennial Super Bowl contender. We have a legitimate shot at winning 6 - 7 games this year and THAT would be tremendous considering all the "wouda couda shouda" play of Miami in recent years.

I agree. He's played to the best of his ability. He's not our future, but I've been glad to see him playing his heart out for us. Not to say Jay didn't play hard, but I would also rather have 10 Gus's.

Fair shout shag --I aint a Saban basher, but if I were honest I would say that I wanted a QB in front of Ronnie. I would not change him for the world now :)
 
We're also one win, (the game we should have won against the PATS) from being tied with them at 5-6 for first place. Incredible. Wish we would have run the ball when we got into scoring position against them - to open an old wound.

Gus has had 3 good games in 11. He has a 66 QB rating. 11td 11int. If we had a decent QB, we would have won at least 2 more games. He is pretty bad. He has been on 6 teams for a reason. He sucks.

I agree. People have been harsh on Saban this year.
 
I agree I would rather have Gus than Jay but the fact remains we're going nowhere with him at QB. Unless we have a nice pickup from FA or a trade I expect Gus will be here next year while the rookie we draft sits and learns.
