The Baltimore loss last year stayed with me for a long while, I think its because we never took that next step in defeating a team like theres, at home, after coming off a blow out loss away at the Saints. Now, one year on, we meet again, with way more on the line.

In that loss however, when it looked like we were about to lose with under 2 mins to go and on 4th a long, Tannehill made some magic happen and it was the first time I KNEW he was our guy. I had supported him from day one and could see he was growing with each game and I never got mad at his mistakes. But this play, which was about his 20th or something game in his career, was when you knew he could make something out of nothing.

Not sure how we never tied it up from this point (well, I do, we missed a 57 yard FG, but you know what I mean), but one year on, Ryan meets these same Ravens, at home, a year more mature, will this magic happen again in what is basically a play-off game? :)

I really wish we could/would design or use more plays similar to that one. If our running game is somewhat respectful the play action/roll out is one way I see tannehill completing the long ball that many of us want to see so badly. If he is on the run it seems he gets better velocity on the ball or, at least, he seems more natural to me throwing on a roll out.
That said I know it reduces the field of play by rolling one way or the other , but I think with his athletic ability it would improve his YPA and give him the option to run himself if necessary.
I, for one, believe we win tomorrow as long as we can show some patience with the ground attack AND show some consistency with pressure in the backfield. It's a tall order but we have shown those two strengths against well balanced attacks and we can do it again.
Hoping for a 31-17 win and a message sent to the Pats ......WE'RE BACK

I remember that play against the Ravens. I think if we would have won that game it would be a lot more memorable around here and there would be less questions about his ability to put the team on his back and carry them to a win.

Heres to Tanny coming out and putting this Ravens team away early by attacking the defense vertically and finishing them late with a strong ground game,
