And for the record I do have two young sons and I’m steering them both away from having anything to do with football. Not because of concussions but because overall I just don’t believe playing and following sport the way I have in my life, has been beneficial to me.

So ya, it’s dumb to suggest a team should lose on purpose by benching its best players, mid way through a season in which the team thought it would contend for a title.

There are 53 guys on the roster who expect nothing less than 100%. Emotional fans have place in telling NFL franchises what to do because they are upset with the results of grown men playing a stupid game.

Proper Tanking is about evaluation for the future, assessment of the roster, contracts , new voices and collecting assets for the betterment of the future of the franchise

Bench Tua? Goodell would take away away another 1st round draft choice and fine Ross several million for “tanking.” No problem when the Bengals did that… and before them, the Colts. The Browns had the right idea 6 years ago…hire Hue Jackson. 1-31-1.
 
The Dolphins are a half game back for the worst record. And there are 7 teams ahead of them. Maybe the can tank and play Tua at the same time. Stealth tanking.😛

That’s my point… the tank/Ross/Flo episode… with no concrete proof… was andded to the Brady/Payton episode… lost of a first round choice and a hefty fine. Both the Bengals and Colts… especially the Colts should have have similar punishment. They lost games by 50 points, and played their 3rd string QB the entire season.

If you prefer Burrow over Tua, the Dolphins should've played their 3rd string QB the year they drafted Tua instead of the guy with the beard. Then they would have Burrow. I prefer Burrow myself. But not by much.

Which good team have they beat this year ? Their doing exactly what the fins got hate for last year . Their 2 matches against above 500 teams this year are losses . Next loss is Nov 17th against the Chiefs in Buffalo .

Burrow also has had injury issues. I’m sure Flo made it clear early on he wanted a vet QB.
