Fellas,

IMHO, there are only two players to pick with the number #9 pick, if one or both are available at nine, which mostly likely will both be gone...

LARON LANDRY

Or

AMOBI OKOYE

These guys will be staples of our defense for 10+ years. Either find a fitting replacement for our outstanding yet aging DL with Okoye, who will be groomed into the best d player in the league if not the best player in the league. Or go with an absolute stud and ball hawk that will improve our sometimes pourous secondary by leaps and bounds. It'd be tough to decide on which player to pick if both are available.

Stanton, Staley, Ugoh, Kalil, Sears, Jarrett, Edwards, Rice could potentially be available for our two O picks in RD 2. However gotta go with Landry or Okoye in Round 1...

I really don't want to go defense with our first pick, but unless we take/trade up for Quinn, the BPA will most certainly be a defender. I would be surprised if Landry is still on the board for us at nine, I see being either a Redskin or Falcon after this weekend. I am expecting Okoye to be available for us, and assuming Quinn is gone and no elite prospects slide, I am hoping he'll be our choice. Although he doesn't fit our 3-4 scheme very well, he is no doubt one of the most talented players and has more upside than almost anyone in this draft. They always say that you should let your talent decide what scheme to use, not the other way around, so if Okoye is there at nine I'm hoping he's the pick.

I would rather draft Willis over Okoye if we go defense . Landry will be long gone by #9.

Okoye would be real nice.

Just say no to defense in round 1.

Staley in round 2? Are you joking?

Seriously, I just don't get how people can think that we should be spending our first roudn pick on defense. I get that we are a defensive team whose defense is getting old, but did anyone actually watch the games last year? Our offense was so bad that we were lucky to score at all in most of our games.

neither will be there. washington is gonna take one of them and atlanta will take the other.

Nobody's even seen Okoye play and you're hoping he's there @ 9 because some draft maniac likes him? That's just plan jerky. You know who Okoye reminds me of? A small athletic tackle named Broderick Bunkley from Florida State that impressed everyone with his quickness, athleticism and strength. Bunkley was taken by the Eagles and is a bust like Jason Allen for us. But hey, Mel Kiper loved him!!! Everyone has Brown being selected by either Atlanta at 8, Dolphins @ 9, or Texans @ 10. If we take him @ 9 it will not be a ridiculous reach on our part. Are we that deep @ left tackle?

I like Landry, but then again, so it seems do the Falcons.

There's a good chance AMOBI OKOYE is going to be a beast, but it will be a work in progress, and we besides, we are already loaded at D-tackles with a lot of good talent with great potential.

Levi Brown would be a immedite starter. He would fill that hole in our line. If we want to see what Ronnie can do we need to build a wall.

with defense i like landry willis and okoye in that order.....even over brown
