...this season, and we're one of them.

The other three?

Indianapolis -- you know, the team that's clinched home field advantage in the AFC.

Seattle -- you know, the team that's clinched home field advantage in the NFC.

And Denver, which has the next best record (12-3).

(And by the way, we beat them 34-10.)

And what class does that put us in?

When you see the media disrespecting us, think of this, sigh, smile, and look forward to next year.... ;)

Hopefully it puts in the class of teams to watch next year....Heres what i want to see in New England next week.

I want to see Miami come out and absolutely DOMINATE the Pats backups (who i'd imagine will be in). I want to see us hit them so hard that they never get up again. I want to see us win EVERY statistical category, complete beat them on every level, coaching, physicality play. I want us to beat them so badly, that for the entire off-season they'll be thinking "man, how are those Dolphins gonna be next year". I want us to put FEAR into them, to show them that we ARE back and we ARE coming for their division title, a division once ruled by us that over the last 5 years they STOLE. I want Miami to come out and make a statement for next year, not just to show New England that we're the team to beat in the AFC East next year, but the ENTIRE NFL.

Wishful thinking i know, hell i'd just take a win....but if anything is going to welcome in a brand new year i hope thats what we have waiting.

Didn't Minny and Chicago win 5 or more straight this year?

Very interesting stat, nice find. I really can't wait until next year. I think we will win the division.

yeah. pretty worthless thread. especially the part about the media disrespecting us :sidelol:

THe media is actually giving us props now. We're livin' it up with 8-7. We're not 4-12 anymore, we're no longer the underdogs. Don't live in the past where our expectations are low from the media, they are high now. Go Phinz!!!

Are you sure you don't need someone to check your diaper,Mr.two year old....whats your problem??? Do you ever post without sarcasim?? Grow up and relize your opinion is not the only opinion on this site. Why do you care if someone else thinks we are disrepected by the media?? It's not like it's just one fan here that feels this way, many fans here feel the same. But I guess someone here at finheaven put you in charge of calling fans out that have issues with the media bias. Ok media crusader, thanks for saving the site from these horrible fans!!!

many fans feel that way BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT. you people hear "the dolphins looked poor today" as "THE DOLPHINS SUCK THE DOLPHINS SUCK." or you hear "san diego needed to win that miami game" as "miami sucks, so san diego had no reason to lose to them." get over yourselves. THE MEDIA HATES NO ONE

and yes, my opinion is the only one that matters

To be fair, the media "disrespects" alot of teams. They all have their favorites and especially when a team is doing something that is very special i.e. Pats winning 3 of the last 4 Colts being as impressive as they are this year....

You came back to reply again to this "worthless thread"?

Whether there are more teams that have won 5 or more games in a row this year or not (sorry for my mistake), the point still remains that we accomplished something unique that only the better teams in the league equalled this year. It's all about finding some kind of distinction for a team that will finish 8-8 or 9-7.

Now is that worthless?

Get your facts straight.

Miami is one of 9 teams to have a 5+ game winning streak.

We did end the San Diego streak at 5 and we beat all 3 teams on this list we played. we had a good season but we are not elite. (washington could add themselves to this list next week)

Miami Won 5 Straight Wk12-Wk16
Denver Won 5 Straight Wk2-Wk6
San Diego Won 5 Straight W8-W13 Bye 10
Jacksonville Won 5 Straight Wk9-Wk13
Carolina Won 6 Straight Wk4-Wk10 Bye 7
Minnesota Won 6 Straight Wk9-Wk14
Chicago Won 8 Straight Wk6-Wk13
Seattle Won 11 Straight Wk5-Wk16 Bye 8
Indianapolis Won 12 Straight Wk1-Wk14 Bye 8

yeah, it still is

the only stat that matters as far as win streaks right now you could argue is that we have the longest winning streak in the AFC, second-longest in the NFL (currently).

only the seahawks, who are on their 11th game, have a longer one.
