Patrick Surtain. Man i really think our record would be a little different right no, if we could of kept him. How our we gonna replace a talent like that? I think saban should handle it different...

we all miss pat bro....but there is no way we were going to resign him at the money he wanted and he woulda signed somewhere else after this year so saban did the smart thing and got somthin in return....im sure pat woula made a difference this year but im not sure our record would be any different.

forget PAT...Get it clear Saban did not let Surtain go.. Surtain chose to leave ...we offered him $6,000,000 a year. F Him and his greedy ways were better off without him

It's all cyclical man, we'll have another good corner or corners soon enough. Maybe we already have one in Poole, Daniels, or Mitchell. Maybe we get one this next draft. Maybe we get one in Free Agency.

JJ got us Surtain, Madison, Thomas, and Taylor. It took some time for them to become the great players they have been, and Taylor and Thomas were picked past the first round to boot. With Sabans focus on drafting to rebuild this team ala JJ, we'll have our future Defensive standouts soon enough.

Crowder?? Roth?? Poole?? Daniels?? Mitchel?? 2006 Draft Class??

keeping surtain wouldn't make the dolphins playoff contenders. they were 4-12 last year and they're 3-6 this year. they're improving, but no way should they be winning now
 
Kept Surtain... probably could not have signed some free agents.. our salary cap would have been higher.. forget the past... im pumped about the players we have now.. or might get...
 
yeah, because Surtain has made such a difference in KC's defensive stats and record....

stop trying to find excuses people. Surtain has been average the past 2 years.
 
there is a reason you traded him.

the cap space he opened up allowed you to get under the cap, and even sign some FA. and dotn forget about the draft pick yall got in exchange.

he would defiantly help your team, but the cap ballances teams out.
 
listen i know pat misses the fins both him and madison are great cb's but both are ineffective without each other, surtain was getting killed in coverage with the chiefs
