Is it me, or do the Fins seem to only win games when they don't matter? I mean, the last six last year were great, but there was no pressure, they were pretty obviously out of playoff contention, so what the heck...

Then, they blow off all the meanigful games in the first part of the season. Then, they win four in a row and suddenly - HEAVEN FORBID - people start talking playoffs, a winning record, etc. In other words, today's game MATTERED.

You'd think at home, with a sizzling hot streak and lots of momentum, they'd pull off a meanigful win, right?!

What's the deal? I guarantee that if they're eliminated from playoff contention, say, next week, they'll win the rest of their games. Right? To me, this is just plain bad coaching. Forget Saban's questionable play calling - how about motivation/inspiration/passion? That's the main thing these guys get paid to do. Most of the other coaches do the dirty work, no?

I'll be sick all week.

Same old Dolphins. How many December losses in huge games did we experience in the last 10 years? And for the past 2, we seem to win only once there is nothing left to play for. We need some physical and mental toughness and unforunately too many guys on our team don't seem to have either.

what we need is 3 things and in this order 1.> we need a running back 2.> We need a Quarter Back And #3.> we need a new Offensive CO-Ordinator. :cooldude:If we had ricky right now we'd have won!

Im starting to really really feel sorry for Taylor & Thomas..

Anyone who underappreciates what they've done for this franchise shouldn't have ne right in the world to call themselves dol-fans

i felt the same way, the game mattered and we lost at home in december with a total team hiccup

This team can't handle pressure. They do well when there is no pressure on them and they play loosey goosey. But as soon as a big game comes up, they fold like a deck of cards. This has been their mentality for a long time now.

This game was extremely frustrating, and I agree wth most of what you guys are saying. Even if we had won today, it would've still been a tough road to hoe, but at least we would've had a shot. This was a big game. And- just like always in a big game- the secondary couldn't cover, the defense couldn't tackle, recievers couldn't get open consistently enough, and our QB (I forget- is it Joey Fiedler or Jay Harrington? Ah well- no real difference.) made unthibkably bone-headed decisions that cost us 14 points. We just collectively folded after the first drive. This one hurts man. It was a winnable game.
