Some of you guys are just plain DISPICABLE!

Can yall look at the BIG PICTURE here??
-We're playing the SUPER BOWL CHAMPION Steelers IN THEIR HOUSE ON NFL OPENING NIGHT!!!
-We're a team with a NEW offense, New QB, AND MANY new players on Defense as well!!
-We were in the FRIGGIN LEAD with 7 minutes left in the game! It's not like we got BLOWN out with no chance to win!
-Late in the 4th, DAUNTE HAD 260 something yards passing with NO mistakes! (nobody was trashing him then!)
-BOTH INT's in the game were because we fell behind late in the game and they KNEW we were in a HURRY UP PASSING situation. They were just sitting back & waiting for it.

THE MAIN MISTAKE that probably cost us the game was that breakdown in coverage when their tight end broke out for an 87 yard TD. THAT, my friends is CORRECTABLE! It's only our 1st game of the year!(we were also missing Travis Daniels our starting Corner)

ANYBODY out there who says: "Daunte SUCKED", or "Who the hell was calling those plays yesterday?", or "we played like crap" -is just FULL OF ****!!
You are not a real fan! FOR SURE you're not very KNOWLEGABLE about the game of FOOTBALL.
That 87 yard TD we gave up (which DOES NOT USUALLY HAPPEN) was what killed us & made us have to come from behind again. That was the PERFECT situation for Pittsburg's D to be in. That's what they're good at. That's why Daunte made that mental ERROR in the game with that INT. The 2nd INT was also a result of the situation (although that one made me SICK TO MY STOMACH).
YOU CANNOT PIN THIS ON DAUNTE.

We almost beat the Champs in their house on NFL opening night up until 7 minutes left in the 4th. WE will get better. We will correct our mistakes. We will EXCEL this year.
I bet NONE OF these guys saying "Daunte Sucked"or "Saban's an idiot" are even over 18 years old. YOU LITTLE GITS NEED TO LEARN THE GAME AND LEARN TO BE A REAL FAN. Yall dont deserve to call yourselves FANS or even be on FINHEAVEN talking crap. FINS RULE. WE'er gonna woop some ***. Daunte is the man and will only get better in this system. Saban is the man. MULARKEY's playcalling was PRETTY GOOD. I liked it alot. Where's the Real fans? WUDUP? Yall can appreciate this right?

-we werent playing the superbowl champions. we were playing a team that went a great run LAST YEAR for the championship, and a team that had a below average QB start for them. as far as opening night, on national tv, in their house....yea...so? we cant rise to the occasion i guess?
-this isnt a new offense. daunte is not "new". hes been running and practicing for months. if daunte is new, then charlie batch is "new".
-we lost. and not in a good way.
-daunte didnt play great. didnt play bad either. definity not what his #s looked like. so we agree there.
-hahah. thats not a good excuse. id hope he doesnt throw picks everytime they know we are going to throw the ball. he might throw 40 this year.


almost doesnt count. and its the way we lost thats bad. murlarkys play calling was good? how so? it was horrible.

well..heres to hoping that these coaches can turn it around with a long week of practice.
 
Good post, to win that game would have been a nice surprise and we almost had it. Correctable mistakes doomed us and we should have lost making that many late in the game by so many people. When did Daunte play his last meaningful game? and it was with a different team. Too many new people. Give it a couple games and I believe it will come along nicely.
 
we dont' have a new offense. It's the same offensive system as last year.

Good post but I dont see the need to justify your opinions anymore. People are gunna think what they want, and they will.

The trolls will invade the board and create clutter. The naysayers will create more clutter with their gloom and doom. There's not much room for the rest of us.

Put on a hat, get out the umbrella, and brace for the negativity storm whenever we lose
 
I think the playcalling was awful, we never even tried to get the Steelers defense to back off
 
One game does not make a season!!!!!!!!as they mentioned during yesterdays game, our starting players have not played a full game in all of preseason, so it takes its toll in the first game, you get worn down in the latter part of the game especialy when you go into a hurry up offense, give them and daunte a break let them settle in and find that groove it will happen i have no doubts:dolphins:

No offense Nappy, but that is the dumbest thing I've seen you post, usually your posts are quite on the mark.

Ben Rothlisberger did not win that superbowl. The pittsburgh defense was the reason they won every single playoff game and the superbowl. The defense returned all players except Olhoffen( sp?).

THey still have a great Offensive line.

They still had Hines Ward, Willie Parker and Heath Miller.

We did rise to the occasion, guess what, we fell short in the end, because their defense was better than ours. But their defense is better than almost everyone's.
