erm he has a history of pass protection issues and signed a very low contract..... its very possible that smith wont be a starter

can get a 10 year starter who will play at a pro bowl level if you trade up a little and take XSF....

I was hoping for XSF in the first and James in the second round.Would still be awesome to land both no matter the round.

Based on what? Garner is a backup, Brenner struggled in limited play, Shelly started 2 games getting killed in pass protect, Dallas has not played, James has never seen the NFL field, and Fox is always hurt.

IF you go by past production, we have 2 legit starters, and a lot of hope and questions.

I would like to see us use our 2nd pick on a top guard if one is available. Then our OL is set for a few years and then in the next draft we can focus on skilled positions if we need to. Honestly if our OL becomes a top 10 line we will make the playoffs this coming season. IMO our bad OL play costs us at least 2 games last year. We aren't far off if we can fix our OL and I mean really fix it.

Albert, Smith, Pouncey, Thomas, and James sounds like itll do the trick. Best part, prob keep that lineup for 3+ years and not have to worry about drafting OL early. How nice does that sound? A set OL that can get together in front of a franchise QB and 3 solid WRs. Even if we have to swap one guy along the way the nucleus is set. Ill take it.

anytime Garner or Brenner are your starting guards, you're weak in the middle.

Thomas/James,.. looks like you're re-creating the Tennessee right side of the line. Shelley will be put next to James, he can block on running plays.
