After watching the 3 games we have played closely and considering many factors such as how many players the Dolphin brass likes to keep at each position, I feel as if the following list is going to be pretty accurate as to who will not be on this team after the final roster is set.

Some guys have played fairly well but will not make it due to overcrowding at that position. Others (such as Rod Wright) may hold on just because we normally keep 6 pure DE's. This is not to say that he won't be cut later for a more polished player cut by another team.

I have considered coach Sporano's statement about the younger guys getting the chance over a vet if there is not much separation in their talent level. I have also considered injuries and who the coaches seem to lean on when it comes to special teams. I don't think we cut anyone until at least after the Saints game as we are at 70 right now.

The guys on this list will not be on the opening day roster due to reasons varying from being cut to being physically able to perform. Some of them may end up on the practice squad of course. Here is the list. Is there anyone that you guys absolutely disagree with?

FB Joe Kowalewski
RB Lex Hilliard
WR Anthony Armstrong
WR James Robinson
WR Brandon London
TE Joey Haynos
K Conner Barth
OL Mark Lewis
DE Ryan Baker
NT Louis Ellis
CB Joey Thomas
CB Will Billingsly
CB Jason Allen
S Courtney Bryan
LB J.D. Folsom
LB William Kershaw
LB Matt Roth.............(if Roth is somehow able to play, either Erik Walden
or Charlie Anderson will be in this spot, with the
other making the team. Too close to call. If Roth
can't go, I feel Walden and Anderson both make it.)

doesnt look like too bad of a list...but i think jason allen will make it.

Four corners and 4 safeties is what I am thinking> I think at this point they have as much confidence in the two rookies as anyone who played corner for us last year outside of Will and Goody. If they only keep 8 LB's and choose to keep 9 DB's instead of 8. only THEN do I think Jason Allen holds on.

I meant to say if they keep 8 LB's instead of 9, then they may keep a 5th DB and I feel it would be J. Allen. Sorry about the confusing post.

agree 100%. he can back up at corner and safty

Jason Allen, Brandon London, Joey Haynos are the 3, that if you're wrong about any of them, I think it's any of those 3.

William Kershaw is making the team.

I guarantee 100% on that.

Pretty sure Allen will make the team. Haven't seen him make any boneheaded plays or be out of position much this preseason. He can play multiple positions if needed and is decent on special teams.

Just not a good 1st round pick.

I thought Jason Allen was really bad..... but then this year I saw Eric Green play beside Jason Allen and then I thought Jason Allen doesn't look that bad as a backup.

The thing with JA is he was a first round bust. But if you think of him as a 6th round pick he actually starts to look the part of a backup DB with limited smarts and tons of athletic ability.

I totally think Hilliard should make the team...

J Allen will make it. Wouldn't surprise me if London makes it & it wouldn't surprise me if Martin is cut.
