The Minneapolis Star-Tribune has confirmed that the Eagles are now in the mix to acquire Chiefs franchise player Jared Allen.

However, the Star-Trib apparently got its info from an agent, cautioning that Chiefs GM Carl Peterson may be using Philly as leverage. The Eagles do have a mediocre situation opposite RE Trent Cole and quite a few draft picks at their disposal. The Chiefs want first- and second-round picks.

The Eagles have joined Minnesota and Tampa Bay in effort to get the rights to Jared Allen. My opinion is that whoever loses out on this trade will go after JT. A team like Jacksonville will see this and raise there offer for JT. JT will be traded it will just probably come on draft day. Another thing people seem to forget was that JT was linked to GB and he might just end up oppisite to Kampman

Well, Remember there are rumors of JT to the Eagles I think if the Eagles cant pick up Allen they will make a strong run at JT. Jacksonville will also try to snag him. I think JTs value will go up as soon as Allen is traded. The problem is if Allen is not traded before the draft we are ****ed

I think they really want to trade allen soon so they can concentrate on draft day

I also thin kthey would like to snag the picks for Allen this year instead of next, but they might wait till draft day. I think we want JT out of here before Draft day for the simple reason, that they want fans t oget over it before the draft, instead of it happening on draft day and taking a negative affect on the fans. Well see what happens.

u think like a wise man! nice info!:hi5:

We could also see some team out of left field snag JT. A team like GB, San Diego or Dallas. Remember Jerry Jones wants to do something huge this offseason. He has not done anything yet, and the biggest thing he might do is trade up with some team for Mcfadden, who many are now starting to call a bust.

I agree with the original poster. Also dont sleep on the possibility of the JT trade including picks or the pick that gives us enough to move back into the first round to select Matt Ryan, Brian Brohm, or Chad Henne. I still think one of those 3 QBs will be in Miami.

Jared Allen was just traded to the Vikings so JT's value just sky rocketed.

I think if JT get traded we will try to snag the Henne or Brohm if either one slides.

truthfully, i believe that LBs are the easiest thing to find in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. i believe that joey porter could replace JT at ROLB and we can land a good young ILB to play the ILB with Crowder and then move Torbor back to OLB.
