The Packers played Thursday Night before we played them giving a long week. The Chargers play on Thursday this week. Then the Lions have a Bye week next week before they play us.

Just thought it was kind of interesting.

Just the facts. And yes it will benefit those teams. In the end all that will matter is how good can the Dolphins be this year ? The schedule this year is a real test.

If not mistaken the Bills files grievance over the schedule as something like half the teams they play are coming off bye weeks

It is unusual. The nfl should try to be fair I think they intentionally pick on the bottom tier teams when they schedule byes, traveling, long weeks

Thursday Night Football needs to be placed in a vault , welded shut and buried 20 miles into the ground.

The caliber of football on Thursday compared to Sunday is night and day. Short week only 3 days to prepare and I imagine you take 1 day off after the sunday game. You are talking about 2 days of practice then. That hurts

All good points. On a better note, we get extra time to prepare for Peyton Manning after what will probably be a very physical game against Buffalo.

As much as Thursday night football sucks, and how its unfair to teams to have short/long weeks of preparation, you know you all watch it and support it :chuckle:

The dolphins had rest before the GB game. How did that turn out?

Bye can help and hurt...some teams come out sluggish after a bye week (Miami)...
