Opportunities are awaiting young Dolphins linemen

Thanks for the link. It extends even deeper to basically the rest of the team. Derek Hagan has a lot to prove this year and I think he will show us that we didn't need Welker all that bad. Other players are Jason Allen, Travis Daniels and Ted Ginn.
 
I'm hoping Rod Wright can show what he can really do this year.

Wright, sidelined last year by a rotator cuff injury that dropped him to the seventh round, weighed 316 as a senior at Texas but is now 294: ``It's a world of difference. I'm quicker off the ball and my strength is better. I have the total package.''

Everybody please forget about Joe Toledo he will never be a good player for us because he can't stay healthy. Even if he was healthy he only played OT for 1 year. This guy will never be a good player for the Dolphins period!!!!!!!!!
 
Real happy to hear Mormino is competing with Liweinsk for the LG spot. I know alot of you had Liweinski locked up at LG but Im happy to hear now that is not completely the case. I wrote a thread discussing how Mormino was seeig time with the second. Could you imagine if by Sept Mormino and Satele are both locked in at LG and C, that what make this years Draft look real good.

If these two can come through big for us it would be huge.
Defense: GM Randy Mueller said Evans ''proved last year he's an NFL player, and hopefully Rodrique will, too.'' Zach Thomas raves about their work ethic; Keith Traylor loves Wright's pass-rushing skills; and Jason Taylor said: ``I don't think they can be good. Fred and Rod can be great.''
 
I would love to see Wright and Evans come of age. We will see some of our young OL unless we sign some free agents. We would have to depend on Mormino, Satele, and Toledo to at least come off the bench.

I liked wright at Texas I was very suprised we got him in the 7th round last year hope he can be a big part of our D this year
 
i like the look of the young D-linemen... i also like the depth the young o-linemen provide... i want to talk about vickerson... he looks like he is turning the corner in nfle .... but i'm not sure the maimi brass think much of vickerson... i hope he shows good things in camp... i just get the feeling it's his last in a fins uniform... i have high hope for him as an nfl player... at the very least he can contribute as a rotation DT... i hope he shows enough to stick with the team...
 
remember we took adewale ogunleye when he was hurt and sat him out a year. we can only hope rod wright turns out as well as 'wale did.

i can't even imagine two of our rookie or first year o-lineman starting and getting favorable comparisons with what the jets did with d'brick and mangold. our guys were certainly less "heralded," so how sweet would that be?
