I'm not sure that Ted Ginn can be evaluated as #9 worth, but I'm pretty sure Brady Quinn was very worth of it.
But I'm sure they pick based on some information nobody here knows. I make emphasis on the collective decision made today at the draft, but it's clear that TG is very familiar with Cameron since his days at Indiana.
He drafted a friend and that is something very important and very hard to judge, the real worth of Ted will be on the way he responds in the field to the trust that our coach gave him with this pick.
Beck will become the next big thing, his maturity put him above the rest of this class, he's 26, and have served his religion and faith. Today he knows he must develop and do it the right way.
Better for BQ that he could get drafted by the Browns, with us urging his soon starting, a soon injury would finish his NFL career.
This way, Trend Green will become our starter for the first games, giving both Daunte Culpepper and John Beck time to recover and adapt into Cameron scheme while learning from Green allowing them to complete their current development.
Of course I'm assuming that Daunte will retool his current contract in order to make this happen.
