To begin the season 1-1, with both games on the road isn't bad. As you know any team is capable on any given Sunday. We probably would have signed up for that record at the beginning of the year. The Fins must take care of the games within their own division in order to have any legitimate shot at contention. Hopefully the woeful defense and play calling can be corrected and as we all know it is a looooong season. Even though it looks like same old same old, teams look vastly different week to week!

Nice post in the sea of pitchforks - That last point about teams looking different each week is true. The NFL is so unpredictable - has been proven already in 2 weekends by the rest of the league. Nothing will surprise me vs Buf this weekend.

Hey I don't think the sky is falling... but there's no way anyone would've signed up for 1-1 with this cupcake start. The effort yesterday was inexcusable, and many of the concerns we had entering the season (offseason even) are rearing their ugly heads. They have to bounceback against the Bills...if they can't beat them at home, and we fail in the same way we have been failing against the Bills, this season won't get off the ground.

Sorry, too many fatal flaws to deal with, starting with our brain dead HC.

Sign up for 1-1? I guess we've been 8-8 and 7-9 for so long people are just happy with it.....smh

Ozzy rules!!

I would be more optimistic if our TE's could stay healthy and we could run the football.

Blake Bortles played a great game. The problem with these losses from fans comes from a predetermined outlook on how bad a team is. Well, the Redskins are now a team that teams have to stop their running game.

no optimism allowed here!!!! lol.. win the next two home games (even though one is in London) and all is good again

How can you say those things and be able to look at yourself in the mirror and not laugh. You have already told us things will never change because of our uniforms. We are doomed.

Of course there are issues, but I won't freak until we are under .500. The Skins team barely beat on the road last week??? They pummeled what is supposed to be a good Rams team this weekend. Makes eeking out that win in Washington look a little better. We will know a lot more after facing the Bills this week. I'm more positive if Albert is good to go this week. Frankly, I think we would have won with him all game yesterday, but their just isn't enough talent on the oline for us to go without him.

Not trying to kill you on this one, but this exact post or some variation of it has shown up every single year of Philbin's tenure. I just don't know how people can't see that this team is exactly the same as the last 3 years from a performance standpoint, while improving on paper each and every year. The constant is the man/men in charge, until that changes nothing else will.

The Bills are trouble for us. They can run the ball well. And rush the passer. If we beat them I will be impressed because that means the coaching staff found a way to circumvent our weaknesses. I don't put money on Coyle having a good gameplan

It is tough for everyone because we have seen this all before. On too of that most of us here know more than the coaching staff. I am an optimist by the way.

I just want Phailbin and his entire staff gone.
