Why in hell would you want Mangini? has no experience as GM whatsoever

so Dungy has?

Ross likes Mangini who is currently in the niners front office.

only tannebaum a jet.

If we bring in a Peterson or Tannenbaum this at best is a lateral move. I'm hoping for the best, but I really wish we wouldn't build this team around a mediocre HC who blew it down the stretch. One guy needed to go minimum, I would've gone Philbin over Ireland but ultimately would've canned both. I'm glad one is gone, pending the replacement.

I think the most likely route these guys are gonna go unfortunately is playing it safe. Promote Gaine and give Aponte more power. I think that's a recipe for mediocrity, but I think it's the most plausible route. You give them one additional year, they fail to make the playoffs and we'll be searching for an entirely new regime a year too late. Hopefully I'm wrong. Personally I wish we'd bring in a new GM who could then determine Philbin's fate. With that being very unlikely I just hope we can bring in a solid OC who can get the most out of our players and run an imaginative WC offense. I'd vote Kubiak but I can't imagine Philbin wanting that.

My biggest wish is no polian. He said Philip f******* Wheeler had a good year and just listening to him on Espn... he's a moron

I would not mind Gaine at all.

I want Pioli. He likes Philbin, is high on Tannehill, and knows talent. He talks about the Dolphins a lot on his radio show on Monday mornings and I like what he has to say. I think he would like to come to Miami.

Who do you think was picking the players in NY and Cleveland?

I could live with Gaine. I would give him a shot.

I almost feel like Gaine is like Todd Bowles. Pretty good candidate in house, but we HAVE to find someone on the outside.

The one GM who won everywhere he went. Bill Polian.

Took Buffalo to the Super Bowl multiple years. Is on the Wall of Fame in Rich Stadium.

Took the Carolina Panthers to the playoffs in just their second year of existence.

Hired by Indianapolis Colts who took over operations from 1998 to 2011. Drafted Peyton Manning.

If ever there was a guy with wisdom and the track record over everyone it is this guy.

He would be a great transitional GM who would be gone in a few years. He would be great for this organization to bring FA's here. He is very well respected throughout this league and will be in the Hall of Fame one day.
