Orange Jerseys this year?

Yes, the orange jersey thread! I didn't see one posted, but if there is then sorry, haven't checked the threads too much lately. The only home primetime game is against the Patriots week 1, Is that when the jerseys might be worn?

If I were them I would make an "Orangeout" game for maybe the Texans game or Bills game. They don't have to wear them at night, and they need to sell tickets to those games. I would rather them just do it during a day game. Though, Texans makes sense since it will be 4pm, so basically night.

I'm surprised they haven't started to push the Orange jersey game yet, they did it last year. Unless they scrap it, but it seemed the fans enjoyed it, lots of fans had orange on for the Jets game. And we know they need to do anything they can to sell tickets.
 
Well, our only opportunity to wear them will be opening day against the Patriots, unless we get flexed in to a prime time game later in the year, which is probably unlikely. Our only other prime time game is @NY Jets, and I'm sure they will be wearing Green thus forcing us to wear white.

I'm more excited to see our throwbacks on thanksgiving vs Dallas, those unis ****ing rock the house.
 
NFL doesn't do throwbacks on Thanksgiving anymore
 
Those orange uniforms are ugly as hell, I hope we don't wear them. It makes us look like the 1985 Denver Broncos.
 
I like the orange uniforms because they are different. Aside from that they are ugly, but i would not be suprised if we broke em' out for the opener, really that is our only opportunity based on years past where we have only wore them for night games at home.

Personally my favorite uniforms are white top, green pants. Those things are sexy. Ill be glad to see those on monday night in new york.

I'm not so sure they'll be wearing throwbacks on Thanksgiving. Could be wrong, but I don't remember anyone wearing them last year, and we've still yet to hear anything.
 
Not sure about the orange jerseys, but I have a source that tells me that Steve Ross wants us to wear orange helmets vs. Denver to honor the Florida Gators championship season.......................................

how is not wearing throwbacks, being cheap. i would think the nfl profits off of the throwback jersey sales. im sure they would sell more jerseys than they supply the players.

i like the orange jerseys but i liked the winning streak in those jerseys more. not that the streak is over , i think we should shelf the alternate jerseys for a few years and bring them back for an important late season game that matters.
