Is it true that Saban did away with them? I thought i remembered hearing something like this but i wanted to confirm it.
 
i dunno if saban took them away, i only know that we don´t play game in them this year

I haven't heard that and really wouldn't believe it considering the big push they gave them only a few years ago.
 
man i was hoping to play the patsies again at home with the orange on we pull some comebacks out of our arse when we wear um. first the redskins then the pats come on saban give em a shot
 
It'd be strange for them not to wear them at least once, with all of the marketing and pushing of them that they've done in recent years. The only reason I could see Saban caring what Jersey they wear is that we don't have any home games at night, so all home games will probably be the white jerseys.
 
Yeah, we aren't using them this year. I doubt we did away with them totally. When we play a primetime game next we'll most likely wear them.
 
Ok seriously, all I want to know is how you guys know that we won't be wearing them this year....

Because our history dicates we wear alternate jerseys during primetime games and we have none this year. Saban could theoretically change that but I would say he won't.
 
Someone posted a "Alternate Jersey Schedule" for the whole league awhile back, we weren't on there. Do a search.
 
In addition to that, it looks like the only time the Dolphins will be wearing aqua is at Tampa, since the Buccaneers usually wear white at home early in the year. I suppose if New England wears those clam chowder jerseys like they did two years ago then Miami would wear aqua then too.
 
darn i sure hope we wear the aqua jersys because i am tired of just the white jerseys they just look bland to me . WHile we are on this very subject i think it would be apropriate to see what would be wrong with creating a bicolor jersey such as a silver and aqua or aqua and black or medium blue and aqua or even orange and white. a lot of teams are going to a bicolor . exp. tenn, bills ( i think ) , tampa, arizona, :cool:
 
Why would Saban get rid of the orange? We're 2-0 in them, in nailbiters. Use them when we play the Pats at home again :D
 
I don't see why Nicky would have a problem with wearing them. Afterall, I heard he had one on during his Stephen A interview.
