Oregon CB Ifo Ekpre Olomu Phins first rounder 2015??

Walter Football has us drafting this CB with the 19th overall pick in 2015.

I only saw one Oregon game and he looked good but a little on the small size.

Thoughts?

Yes, he's 5'10" give or take, but a good tackler, sticks his nose in the play, and has very solid cover skills.

I think Peters is a great prospect in his own right. You wouldn't see me complaining about either one.

Ekpre-Olomu is my first round pick right now with all of our d-backs getting hurt and the lack of depth as this position. We are currently bringing CB and Safety scrubs off the street. Ekpre-Olomu just got an invite to the Senior bowl.

I'd like to go bigger at the corner position, but Ekpre-Olomu is a heck of a player. That would be a great start for Miami in the 2015 draft.

Peters has proven to be an idiot, so I am scratching him.

I am looking at FA CB's. Brandon Flowers is a great fit. Match him with Grimes and I think the team is on to something.

I would also bring back Finnegan to play the slot. I would release him and try to sign him back for much cheaper money. He got crazy money last year.

Isnt he gonna be gone in the top 10? Miami will pick in the 20s

He might also drop because he's had "just a very good" season, rather than pure domination. The OR scheme is not easy for CBs to excel in. He makes all the right decisions, but isn't flashy.

Ekpre-Olumu just suffered a bad season ending injury in Oregon's practice.
