Darlington was interviewing Saban and during part of the recording of the interview it got casual and Saban said that the rest would be off the record. Darlington agreed. Orlando heard about it and begged darlington if he could get a copy of it just for his own personal reasons. Darlington agreed, since they were supposed good friends at the time, but told Orlando that under no circumstances could he air the interview or even talk about it since it was agreed to be off the record. Orlando said ok and as soon as darlington gave him a copy he went on the radio and aired it. Darlington was then reprimanded by the paper he was working for including a suspension I think.
