Every year, there is always a thread talking about all the games that will be televised in the Orlando area. I just did some quick searches and could not find anything. I also looked online for some time and could not find anything. I really am dying to see some preseason games already and hope we get all of them but that never happens. Anyone know if there is a thread already or can lead me in the right direction to finding out? Thanks!

Sorry to be the barer of bad news but you much like us over here in the Tampa Bay area will be forced to watch re-runs of the Golden Girls or the Jaquars... the only Dolphin games you will be able to watch will be the ones on Monday Night Football, or if they play the Buc's or Jag's...

Yeah, tell me about it, I have been through this torture for a few yrs now. We did get normal Sunday games though if the Jags and Bucs are on Fox or at another time. Usually people on here somehow get ahold of the stations or analyze the schedule to figure out which ones we will actually get. Our first preseason game is against the bucs and our second against the Jags so we can pretty mcuh put those in stones. Unsure about the rest.

damnit i'm moving to orlando next week. anyone got good suggestion for dolphin friendly bars?

I Live In Orlando And I Have A Couple Dolphin Friends... We Don't Have A Set Bar For Every Season... But We Try To Find One And Stick With It All Season. We Live Over On The East Side Of Town, It Gets Pretty Packed... Last Year We Used The Ale House On University And Semeron... Might Do That One Again This Year... Dunno

You can count on seeing at least two of the preseason games, those being the games against the Jags and Bucs. I would suggest watching them on mute however because we'll most likely get the Jax and Tampa announcers for those games like last year. As for the regular season you can always look at our schedule compared to the Jags schedule and get a quick idea of which games aren't conflicting. Just remember that it can also depend on which network gets the doubleheader for a particular Sunday, so the Bucs schedule comes into play as well. Look for Jerry Greene's (Orlando Sentinel) column soon , he usually likes to rub it in Dolfans faces which games won't be available in the Orlando area. Do yourself a favor, get Sunday Ticket. Tell 'em I sent ya and I get a $50 rebate.

Actually, we get a couple extra on TV if the Jags are at home and don't sell out which happens a few times a year. If they are on the road, the network has to show them ( I hate that rule). If they are home and don't sell out, the secondary market network (Orlando) can choose which game to show. They usually choose the Dolphins.

orlando typically has squat for dolphins games. the jags took care of that. CBS used to air tons of fins games, not so much anymore. the wing house on 436 is pretty money, and any ale house is good - but these places get packed with drunk retards that shouldn't even be wearing a jersey let alone open their mouth with anything football related. that's why i found a few sleeper bars that have the ticket and are money - but the bar scene gets old if you really want to pay attention to the game. i am getting the ticket again as a direct result of what was mentioned above. my friends in the area are all stupid bucs fans or just follow the gators and don't watch the nfl (how can you not watch the game being played at the highest level?), and i've only been back in town for about a year, so i have no friends that are dolphin fans in orlando. if you or anyone else that reads this lives in or around orlando and wants to watch the game on a 63 inch HD tv and drink some beers and get blazed, let me know. last year it was really sad watching the fins lose by my damn self. word riggs.

Here's a good link for finding out if the Dolphins are on in your area. Unfortunately they don't get the info until Tue or Wed before each game, and they don't list preseason games.

Looking at last season, the Tampa area showed 6 games. Orlando showed 8 games.

Yeah, Dolphins fans who live close to the Tampa and Orlando markets pretty much get hosed on gameday. I was only able to watch six games last year. Redskins, Raiders, Texans, Giants, Steelers, and Patriots. The rest of the games I followed on NFL.com Stat Tracker. That my friends, is edge of your seat action!

Basically anyone that lives north of Sarasota gets hosed... but what really gets me pissed is that in Tampa, they show the Jaqs which is further from Tampa then Miami is... my suggestion is to call the local channel and complain each Sunday, annoy the hell out of them, then drive down to a local bar that will show the Miami game and relax.

Make sure to call first, in the past I have been burned and pissed because I left home to drive 10-15 miles to watch a Fins game at a bar, but when I get there they are showing nothing but the crap I left home because of...

I'm a local also. A few places I occasionally go are Kerryman's (longwood) and Cheers (Lake Mary and Longwood)! Since I have the package I don't go to them all that often!
