Nasty said:If the Bears win the division... there is a good chance Orton take OROY... Go Vikings!!
and dont forget Heath Miller... that play-action pass they run to him on the goalline is practically unstoppable because of the focus placed on stopping the Bus...

burger13 said:Are you serious?? I laugh everytime someone mentions him as a ROY canidate. Apparently all a QB has to do is play to be eligible for ROY. How about Gus Frerotte for Comeback Player of the Year............because even he has a higher QB rating than Orton.
The reason he gets so much credit is because he was a 4th round pick. If Alex Smith or Aaron Rodgers were putting up those numbers.....they would be BUSTS. Orton does it and he's a ROY. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to trash Orton....I think he is doing fine for the position he was thrown into......it just doesn't make him ROY.
The award is for the best rookie....not the one who's overachieved the most.
Ronnie is the Offensive Rookie of the Year so far.
Nasty said:Well... If his team goes to the playoffs... there is gunna be alot of pressure on voters to vote for him... like it or not. Do I agree with it... no... but it doesnt matter what I think... It matters what the media thinks... and you and I know that they are all a bunch of idiots...
If a team with a rookie QB makes the playoffs... it becomes a big deal...
burger13 said:I hear what your saying........but it is idiotic. Especially on that team which is winning with running and defense and DESPITE the passing game.
