There is one guy who will challenge Ronnie for this award and that is Kyle orton and i think ronnie might lose

If the Bears win the division... there is a good chance Orton take OROY... Go Vikings!!

and dont forget Heath Miller... that play-action pass they run to him on the goalline is practically unstoppable because of the focus placed on stopping the Bus...

what makes you think he is going to challenge Ronnie for the prize?

Are you serious?? I laugh everytime someone mentions him as a ROY canidate. Apparently all a QB has to do is play to be eligible for ROY. How about Gus Frerotte for Comeback Player of the Year............because even he has a higher QB rating than Orton.

The reason he gets so much credit is because he was a 4th round pick. If Alex Smith or Aaron Rodgers were putting up those numbers.....they would be BUSTS. Orton does it and he's a ROY. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to trash Orton....I think he is doing fine for the position he was thrown into......it just doesn't make him ROY.

The award is for the best rookie....not the one who's overachieved the most.

Ronnie is the Offensive Rookie of the Year so far.

Again.....I like Heath Miller too......but he is only in the conversation because teams are neglecting to cover him......not that they can't. Any TE would have the same numbers as he does given those same opportunities. The overlooked part of his game is his blocking.....but that's not going to win any ROY awards IMO.

62.9

That's his rating. It will be a huge injustice if he beats Ronnie Brown for ROY. Others maybe, but I doubt he will.

i voted on espn for midseason awards and for rook of the year...i of course put ronnie. there were like 5 choices like orton, caddy, blah blah

RONNIE WAS 4TH OUT OF 5...BEHIND CADDY....BY A GOOD MARGIN TOO

WHAT IS THAT???

Well... If his team goes to the playoffs... there is gunna be alot of pressure on voters to vote for him... like it or not. Do I agree with it... no... but it doesnt matter what I think... It matters what the media thinks... and you and I know that they are all a bunch of idiots...

If a team with a rookie QB makes the playoffs... it becomes a big deal...

I hear what your saying........but it is idiotic. Especially on that team which is winning with running and defense and DESPITE the passing game.
