Orton for a 5th?

Let me nip this in the bud before this goes to far. I assume you saw this on ESPN in the segment with Adam Schefter. If so, this thread is not entirely accurate. This is not the Dolphins offer, this is what Adam Schefter THINKS the Dolphins should offer. The segment was "What trades should happen before the deadline". Schefter proposed the Dolphins trade a 5th for Orton. He also proposed that the Bills trade for Reggie Wayne. Realistically there are probably no talks going on between the Dolphins and Broncos.
 
I dont understand why Adam thinks we should trade for him?

Why waste a 5th rounder?
 
Even if the Broncos offer Orton and a 5th rounder to get rid of him i won´t take him!

and if that were to happen, i'd be really worried the Colts are serious about landing Andrew Luck
 
got more than enough losers and chokers on the team already. thanks but no thanks
 
Damn Reggie Wayne to Buffalo would be a great pickup. We need every possible loss! I'd rather see Buffalo win than NE or NY.
 
A 5th plus the $9 million salary...no thanks.

By the way do we even have a 5th? What did we give up for Reggie?
 
Putting "3 and Out Orton" into perspective :

He's 3-10 over the last 13 games he started
while Matt Moore is 7-6 over the exactly 13 games he's ever started for an even worse team.

So what's the sense of doing this? :idk:
