Too far if you ask me. We need to forget about Saban because quite frankly the guy wasn't and isn't that good. Many of us thought he would turn the franchise around yet nothing he's done at the NFL level backs that up. We all had nothing but speculation and what he had told us to believe he would right the ship. To me letting go of a coach that was 1-3 vs the Bills and Jets (unless some of you posters believe those 2 teams have superior talent to us) in 2 seasons is no big loss. I now believe Saban would have never hacked it in the NFL anyway. We have no proof that he would have. All of the information we have at this point backs up the fact that HE WOULD HAVE FAILED anyway.
