It has been widely reported that we are looking for a pass rusher be it Mathis, Williams, Avril, Coples, or Upshaw.  Rotoworld and other outlets have been reporting that the NY Giants are set to release Osi because Osi is looking for a long term contract and JPP is his heir apparent.  Now I don't know if I love Osi's personality he seems to be more of a loudmouth me first player, but his talent is undeniable.  The guy is a human fumble forcing machine!  So imagine our 4-3 with Wake-Odrick-Starks-Osi and when we go to our 3-4 D we can use Osi as a pass rushing LB opposite wake.  I hate questions about every free agent as much as the next guy but Osi is a legitimate option.  Thoughts?

no thanks. I'd rather draft Coples. Odds are, Giants are going to be looking to trade him rather than release him. I'd rather draft a fresh DE, and keep our picks

Giants already tried to trade him with no luck. He has bum knees and is on the downside of his career. He will be cut but probably not worth the money he is looking for??? Signing Mario Williams or drafting Coples would be better options. Both are in the 280 range and can stop the run!!! We can't have 2 under-sized DE or we will get killed in the running game.
