OT: Duct Tape on Football Jersey?

Just wondering if I put some duct tape on a 100% polyester football jersey if it will harm or do anything to the jersey?

Dude, duct tape holds old 400 pound bumpers together on old clunky crappy American cars, used to repaid army vehicles in WW2. It is strong enough to replace nuts and blots and hold a refrigerator door in place. You then ask a question if it will hurt a soft, plastic type fabric?

Try masking tape, or moving tape some other wimpy tape.

When I saw the thread, I thought maybe he was on of the people that put duct tape on a Ricky jersey when he retired and now he wants to take the tape off.

I'd try masking tape on an edge to see what happens. Also, I would not leave on for an extended length of time as you might have some adhesive left over.
