OT Ray Willis signed, better than Columbo?

i saw that as well and i don't know anything about the guy. But at this point based on reading camp reports it seems like a statue would be better than columbo

Possibly, I am sure he will be given a chance to work his way up. I wouldn't even count Nate Garner out of the mix for the RT spot.

Ray Willis is pretty good, he has started all 16 games for the seahawks in 2009 but a knee injury kept em out all last year.

We're fine at tackle. Worst case ... Carey slides back outside.

i think murthas gonna get a crack at right tackle pretty soon here...as for willis another guy coming off of injury...we'll see what he's got

Looks like another Bargain Barn rock-flip to me ... we'll have to see what he shows, especially coming off a knee injury & missing all last year. Ray Willis only has a few starts on a poor team since 2005 ....

Sparano built his NFL coaching career as an O line coach. However, since he's been Miami HC we have seen a disproportionate amount spent on expensive free agents and draft picks and apart from the 2008 season, we've seen little return for the investment. The reality is that we have among the most expensive O line's in the game that has delivered mediocrity to date. If we are honest, this has been one of Sparano's biggest failures to date. Individually most O line players are decent but they haven't jelled as a unit, to date. There is a lot of pressure to perform. We know that our defense will be solid, Sparano's coaching career is dependent on the O line giving Henne and the RB's the protection that they need. If Garner is fully healthy, he adds depth and so does Willis, but the unit has to jell (and quickly).

If Ray Willis can get back to his 2009 form (pre-injury 2010), he is much better than Columbo. This could be a damn good pick up, if can recall, I believe he was rated a top 5 RT a few years ago.

This could be interesting, we'll see...

I'm having a hard to keeping up with who is on o-line nowadays.

Please don't turn RT into a project to pick at all season.
