Urbik said RG snaps being split evenly among contenders (Turner, Thomas, him, Douglas). Bushrod still limited.

I like Landry trying to learn from Antonio Brown, but why the hell is Geno throwing with them?!

All these guys not practicing... Injured? Lingering issues? What gives

I'm so excited to see how Gase uses Landry and Parker!

It is hard for some guys to get it going this early in the season. Some would argue rushing back too quickly when it is going to be such a long season may promote injuries compared to resting a couple more days or weeks.

AB and Geno are both from Miami. Probably just hometown connections. No big.

Jackson summary of today...

• One of the most fascinating battles is the Xavien Howard/Tony Lippett competition at the cornerback spot opposite Byron Maxwell. Adam Gase said both Howard and Lippett have received work with the first team.

“We want to see those guys go against different receivers; that helps the evaluation process,” Gase said. “That evaluation process is going to take time.”

No setback for Ekpre-Olomu - that's good news.

Well, Brown and Smith i'm sure wanted to practice plays from the Miami Offensive playbook.

Not sure if there is another level for Landry. The only thing he lacks is superior speed and you just can't coach or improve that.

He's already great as he is - great route runner, great hands, blocking, great vision, high pointing, toughness, quickness, moves, but he'll never be a boundary burner.

Still reading the same number of "Tannehill sacked" as last year. I think too many people are getting their hopes up thinking this O-line is fixed. We'll see what happens when the pads come on.

Certainly no one knows, but Tunsil should be a better OG than Turner/Douglas and Grant is a better OG than Dallas. We can discuss HOW MUCH BETTER the OL will be but I can't see it being anything but better.

He should put up more yards and fewer receptions. While he has limitations, Miami (to date) has failed to utilize his physicality over the mid-to-deep middle of the field.

And the defense was at the bottom of the barrel in sacks last season. The trenches are going to need a lot of luck in the health department this season otherwise it's going to be ugly again.

i think the other level comes from the coaches putting him in better situations with the ball in his hands. less catches over the middle for 3/4 yard gains and more creative route combinations and lining him up, moving him around ,etc
