Again, not a fan of Walt Aikens as a cornerback. He need a lot of work, or to move to safety. Footwork is not impressive.

Sounds like my predictions for Dion Jordan (easy one) and Jamar Taylor to step up looks good so far this year. Of course I also picked Dion Sims and he is not sounding good so far so what do I know?

Jamar Taylor just intercepted Tannehill in 7-on-7 drills. Pass intended for Stephen Williams. Rest of DEF went nuts celebrating #Dolphins

This is what we need. I like seeing the D rally around a player who put himself down last season. Taylor has good potential. Hopefully he is now confident entering his 2nd year.

There is no way Taylor will beat Finnegan out for the starting spot. The better Taylor looks the better Finnegan will be. That's why fierce competition, even amongst good players, is so important, they all help to bring out the best in each other. Which is why its absolutely vital to draft and keep drafting good players at every position, regardless of need.

I've had an epiphany lately, Tom Brady was probably not only OK with drafting another QB high but he might have even been the one asking for it. He understands himself and knows that the way to get the most out of him is through serious training camp competition.
