It's funny. I guarantee you that Nick Saban can make most of you, who are making fun of Manuel for crying, cry like a baby as well. Hell, I can make you cry when I lose my temper.

Come on everyone is going to make fun of him. I do feel bad for him as do a lot of people, but many more think it is funny to see a man that large crying bc someone was yelling at him.

Personally, I am almost glad to see it. It shows he is a passionate player. And if you learned anything over the years it is passionate players usually do well in the NFL.

After reading this media report I can understand Saban...

I have more simpathy for Saban in regards to the media after reading this plastered all over the papers. Give me a break. I realize Saban probably asked for this due to lack of access, but come now. And other fans making fun of it. So what. If he gets into the backfield at San Diego and introduces himself to Brees and Tomlinson San Diego will have a true understanding.

Saban is being hard on him because it is Manny's poor mental approach to football that got him all the way down to the 5th round of the supplemental draft. It wasn't his poor workout, per say, but what that poor workout represented was a lack of mental toughness and desire. When Manny walked out on the field without pads, he was demonstrating the same poor mental habits that made his workout so bad. Saban is trying to build a toughness and desire in this kid so that he can push through the pain and make something of his life. That Manny cried about it illustrates how far he has to go to get into football shape mentally. He will have to toughen in a hurry if he is going to be a factor on this team.
