I think the Dolphins should consider bringing in Hilton for a look as our 3rd TE. I watched Hilton play last season and thought he would be the starter in New Orleans, but apprently he did not impress Sean Payton. Bockwoldt started for them last season, and atleast is a very good special teams player. Mcpherson is just notable because of his ties to florida.

BREAKING NEWS: Lions release WR Charles Rodgers, G Fred Matua, LB James Davis, OT Kelly Butler, RB Artose Pinner, WR Glenn Martinez, and G/C Brock Guiteriez

Steelers release RB Cedric Humes, WR Lee Mays, QB Shane Boyd, QB Omar Jacobs, DL Orien Harris

Rams release RB's Moe Williams and Fred Russel, QB Dave Ragone, CB Dejuan Groce, TE Jerome Collins, and DT Brian Howard

Despite the shown interest in McPherson as a rookie, I doubt there's any charge at him. Lemon solidified his spot and Vick is still a WR/QB that should make the team.

Hilton might be a nice pickup, At 6'8" 270, he has good size and arm length to pass block, and he had almost 400 yards recieving last year.

Mary Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns RB Lee Suggs is expected to be cut by the team Saturday, Sept. 2.

Cleveland Plain Dealer? What is a car dealership doing reporting cuts? J/K

So, a question for those in the know. If a player gets cut, who decides which team he goes to? He and his agent?

EDIT: ATVZ400. Is that Zack holding Dan's Jock strap in your avatar?:sidelol: :sidelol: -That is hilarious....

Zach Hilton would be an upgrade for the #3 TE and push Peele for the #2 spot. He was very inconsistent this preseason but I am still suprised to see his name on the cut list.

If he clears waivers then yes its up to him and his agent as who he wants to sign with. Obvisously during the waiver process according the team record we might be able to pick him up. Despite failing his physical reports have said from Cleveland he looks heathly. (But that could have come out to somehow persuade someone to take him off their hands)

Chris Brown is the guy I think we end up with if anybody. I keep hearing his name, but since Tennesee is our third game of the season, I dont think the Titans want to give us a guy who has seen the entire Tennesee playbook and is currently playing.

No Way

Why would we want a guy that the Jets want?..or wanted I should say...leave him be and lets see who is actually out there. Mr. Smith from the Texans would be the best bet of the ones that were cut Friday. He knows the role of Rb that spells a star. He also put up decent numbers this preseason

Hilton was a sleeper in many fantasy drafts......No un-employed beside his name....Im surprised with this too Sean Payton loves throwing to TE in his Off. Just look at when he was with the Giants and threw to Old Man Howard Cross. He made him like a 17 yr vet, just by going out and catch a 5 yd pass.

If you read carefuly I never said the Dolphins would pursue Mcpherson, I was just mentioning he was released because of his ties to Florida

Available Veteran Cornerback

New England Patriots just released Eric Warfield, he was a pretty good DB for the Kansas City Chiefs and ok for the Patriots. Do you guys think he would be a good pick up
