Other than Pouncy, who would you start from last year's O-line?

Hopefully no one else that we currently have. Four new upgrades are needed.

I have always wnated someone with acutal input to grade Jerry and Clabo the last 6 games of the year. I dont think we can bring in 4 new starters unless we sign 4 new players in FA which would take up all of our money. Drafting isnt a for sure thing as we have seen (Dallas Thomas) and we canbe stuck with a bunch of back ups if we arent careful. Brenner would be agood player to keep as a back up he played decent, i would like to know wtf is up with THomas and Watkins?

Tuff question at this point in time until we see who actually hits FA on the OL. I believe we can get a LT, 2 OG's, and a band aid at RT without breaking the bank but, could be dead wrong.

Clabo played well in the second half but, has talked of retiring. I have to wonder IF all the BS with Cog and Martin had a bit of an effect on him. It "should not" have but, ya never know. He was a different player in the second half, and who we signed to start with.

Jerry plays well in pass protect but, sucks in run blocking, and is not a VG fit. Who knows if he even wants to come back.

Brenner flashed, and could be good but, may need another year. Dallas is anyone's guess, as we did not see him, and know nothing. Yeatman was a project, and had the bad injury.

NOT much to choose from.

I'm not the expert you're looking for but, have been re-watching the OL for about 10 years. So, from what I saw, Clabo was night and day in the last 6 games, good to VG is pass protect, and average on the run. Jerry was rock solid in pass protect, had a few average games on the run, and some very bad ones.

Brenner looked good in his first game because he could actually move but, got mostly killed because he was not strong enough and needs some work on technique. As per Phins players, he is a Workout Warrior and it would not surprise me if he challenges to start this year, although he may need another year.

No clue on Dallas, and about the same on Yeatman.

Poncey to RG, find a new center, LG, LT, RT. I honestly would not want to bring back any of those linemen for a starter role. I'd rather roll with unknowns than go with players who we know already suck.

I am REALLY hoping that GB lets Dominique-Smith hit the FA market. Perfect fit at center, and puts Pouncey at LG, a lethal ZBS 1-2 at C/LG.

We could skimp on a RT if we get a RB or TE that can block. We def need a LT though. That should be #1 priority.

Can't see that in this year's draft, and it's gonna costa lot in FA IF they are available, and IF we can sign one.

Id start Mickinney and Jerry. We definitely need to draft a left tackle...maybe not to start right away...if we can get an upgrade over mckinney in FA then him but as it stands ill go with mckinney and jerry.

Without a doubt I would give Brenner a shot at LG. He's got the size and athletic ability that Philbin wants plus he's a little nasty which is good as well. If Brenner could grow and fill that position that would take some pressure off Hickey in this offseason.

Brenner was decent for depth but he proved to be too small for the bigger DT's and was manhandled by Buffalo. I'd keep Clabo if I had to pick just one, and McKinnie if I had to pick 2. Both our guards need to be replaced.

It's reall not an easy situation fo our new GM. O-line is of course is big proble with 4 holes at this point. As much as I'd like 4 new starters, I still think is a bit unrealistic to start 4 new guys and expect the line to gel together. Then again if we start 3 new guys it won'tmae that big of a difference. Each player will have to get use to playing next to someone they haven't played next to in the past. Easier to start 3 new free agents than 3 rookies tho.

Ozzy rules!!
