COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State and Oklahoma will play a home-and-home series in 2016-17.

The two traditional powers have met twice before, with the Sooners beating the Buckeyes in 1977 and Ohio State evening the series in 1983.

"We still have a few details to work out, including where the first game will be, but we have an agreement in principle," Ohio State associate director of athletics Steve Snapp said Friday.

"We want to play a marquee game every year, either home or away, and Oklahoma certainly fits into that category."

well for one Notre dames defense aint weak if they were able to just lose to USC unlike oklahoma 55-19 and plus who ever said I was a buckeye fan

How'd ND get involved in this lol. And we had a weak defense, but our offense will score on anyone :)

And ND's defense did a lot better then most teams against that USC offense. It's the mobile QBs that give us the most trouble (see Michigan St and OSU games)
