Our 2nd round pick- "Jordan Phillips could be man for Vince Wilfork's job "

This is a great pick up. Quarterbacks are going to be running around for their life..this will make things a lot easier for the corners.
 
if he stays healthy and beasts like Suh you can't beat the pick. nothing limits an offense more than collapsing the middle.
 
People are just queasy about people named "Jordan" and the words "People question his football character" :(.
 
With this guy clogging the lanes, Suh has a better chance to penetrate and create tackles for loss and sacks.

if you have a back issue, you will be up and down. He had corrective surgery and had a great comeback the year after. I am a big man with big back troubles and know the drill. if that back was still a problem, he wouldn't have the season he had in 2014.

also, he won't be a nose tackle in our scheme and he is going to be a force next to Suh who has to be double teamed on every play. Philips needs double teams a lot and there are only so many guys to block them. Philips will see many single blocks and his sack and tackle numbers are going to flourish!!

You sobbers are going to love this guy this season. Put the Hankey's down!!

And you know what? Thats what most fans of EVERY team say when their respective teams draft a pass rusher in the early rounds.

wow. you don't watch college ball or study the draft much do you.

those two players couldn't be any further apart. Dion was not close to a #3 pic. His game, especially sacks were doubted. only Ireland didn't see it. Philips talent and skill are not in doubt, only the medical past that caused some up and down moments.

Stop crying and hit the draft sites and find some drag mags. Educate yourself on football positions and their importance. That will get you out of the water works and player confusion.

I really like the pick. If he pans out one of the biggest weaknesses on our defense will be fixed, and become one of our strengths. Sick of seeing every team gash our defense.

Serious potential but classic underachiever...i mean he can be dominant...but he fades in games...if this isnt a tannebaum im smarter than everyone else is pick i dont know what is...if hes playing for a paycheck he will never live up to his potential

But frankly if you unlock what hes capable of and get it consistently you are talking a top 20 pick worthy talent
 
It's clear now the front office isn't nearly as high as Finsheaven on Francis and Johnson.
