Yes, because that will improve the edges, the qb, the dbs, the o line, the rbs. Both would be a miracle, Philbin missing the flight and players improving their play, so why not start with a miracle of Philbin missing the flight?

Philbin doesn't bring much to the party, I thought this was pretty evident.

how about playing football from the start till the end, having a defense that plays aggressive and with passion like the Jets do.

The Jets spend too much time entertaining the local bar flies the night before and they over sleep for the game.
 
Everyone's whining about Philbin, but you know the Patriots will sign him and his Powerpoints and charts will kick our asses. Everyone gets better when they leave the Dolphins.
 
If we lose again jets. the seasons is over. We are looking at 4-12

Belichick would need his brain sucking machine on for a 1/2 second to extract Philbins head coaching knowledge and experience. It would probably play back like key stone cops on a fire truck.
