DE- Jason Taylor
NT- Keith Traylor
DT- Vonnie Holliday
DE- Math Roth
OLB- Channing Crowder
MLB- Zach Thomas
OLB- Joey Porter
CB- Will Allen
SS-Yeremiah Bell
FS- Jason Allen
CB- Travis Daniel

Note: just if we dont draft a 1 or 2 rounder starter CB or Safety....

Travis Daniels wont start, he will be the nickel back and #29 will start. He is our best corner right now. Forgot his name because everybody keeps leaving him off the starting roster.

Guess he's a no-name.

i believe your projection to be correct sir...

Andre Goodman

Agreed, I think Goodman may be our best cover corner, and Will Allen is our best run stopping CB, who actually I feel is pretty decent in coverage but has those stone hands. I like Travis as our nickel back, honestly I have said now for a minute that I am satisfied with not even brining in a high pick in the draft at CB, I think these guys will do fine this year . . . especially w/ the expected pass rush we should be able to bring on opposing QB's.

DE/OLB - Jaston Taylor
DT/NT - Keith Traylor
DT/3-4 DE - Vonnie Holiday
DE - Matt Roth
OLB - Channing Crowder
MLB - Zach Thomas
OLB - Joey Porter
CB - Andre Goodman
CB - Will Allen
SS - Yermiah Bell
FS - Jason Allen

nickel/5th DB - Travis Daniels
Dime/6th DB - Renaldo Hill

I think that will be the lineup come opening day . . . unless we get an impact player real early (Patrick Willis, Revis . . .HOuston . . Hall, Landry . . . or possibly even a Merriweather)

I would have the same lineup, Allen and Goodman at CB... however.. I feel that in the 2nd round we are going to take either Chris Houston out of Arkansas, Marcus McCauley out of Fresno State, or Aaron Ross out of Texas, all of whom will have a chance to come in and compete for the 2nd CB spot with Goodman/Daniels... would be fun to watch if we were to draft one of them, which is still a strong possibility..

Renaldo Hill has not done anything to lose his spot, and Jason Allen has not done anything to win it.

Your right, and that is probably why Jason didn't overthrow him (plus that was last year) . . . but u have gotta be kidding yourself if u didn't see the athletic difference in that secondrary when he was in there. He was a first round pick and the talent is there, I firmly believe he will win the FS spot over Hill. He will bring a speed factor like no one else we have in that secondary right now.

I don't think it will be given to him, he will earn the spot

I think this will be the year where Jason Allen settles in. Sabans D was complex and Allen was moved around too much from the get go which slowed his progress down. There is a learning curve, and Saban set him back a bit. With that said, Allen also didnt grasp the playbook very quick.

Travis Daniels had a nagging ankle injury last year that hampered him all season long. He didn't have the cutting ability he had his rookie season.

T-Daniels is, basically, our best one-on-one cover corner. He'll be back from that ankle sprain this year and start.

He doesn't have overwhealming speed or size. But he's about as solid as solid comes.

I agree. Two years ago I was really impressed with how well he played for us. Last year he was injured and like you said, really did hamper his season. I look for him to be back to his form this year.

You do have a point. Will Allen has trouble playing the ball in the air, i think all of our DBs do. Will Allen last year had a habit of getting beat by WRs who were bigger than him as well. I hope Daniels steps it up and can be a great corner for us this year.
