what do you think our biggest need is and what player would you want to fill that need.

I think we have needs at wr,te,nt,mlb,fs and maybe rb if ronnie is gone but we gotta get a big name wr.
 
I don't think there is any question that this team NEEDS to draft a top notch WR first and foremost this year.
 
I know i'm in the minority...but if one of the QB's (McCoy, Klausen, Bradford, Locker) are in the board in round 1....I want them.
 
biggest need is WR but the draft isn't necessarily the answer - being that it takes time - that we don't have - for them to develop. FA is the answer there.

i'd have to go with ILB. we need a force in the middle. spikes.
 
McClain or Spikes and Karlos Dansby or Kirk Morrison.
 
Grab Vince Wilfork from FA - New England has a history of letting stars walk (Asante Samuel, Ty Law, Deoin Branch, etc.)
Grab Kirk Morrison from FA - No way he is staying in Oakland
ABSOLUTELY grab Vincent Jackson if he hits FA (which is highly unlikely)
Grab Shawne Merriman from FA - Chargers have already embraced for his departure by picking OLB Larry English in first round last year
Grab Marcus Howard from FA - Same with Morrison; why would anyone want to be in Oakland?

If we can make those offseason moves (all or some), we deal with our problems at NT/DT, ILB, OLB. Then we can focus on WR (Dez Bryant, Arrelious Benn, Golden Tate), RB (don't waste high pick on C.J. Spiller but instead pick Noel Devine in later rounds to use his speed to complement Brown's power), TE (Jermaine Gresham), DB (Earl Thomas), or to upgrade even more at LB (JErry Hughes, Rolando McClain).
 
Linebackers. Middle Linebackers, Outside linebackers. We need linebackers badly. McClain or Jerry Hughes. Get it done Parcells. Add a Demeco Ryans or D'Qwell Jackson or one of the other nice LB's in FA. Put Crowder and Ayodele on the bench where they belong.

free agency is not the answer...we're headed to an uncapped year...the top guys won't even be free...

the draft and a 1st round pick on a wr and the ginn family have got to go

you guys are on cloud 9...these guys in an uncapped year are restricted which means the team owns their rights still they're going nowhere...

but crowder sux so damn bad its not funny...him and ginn

i meant answer in terms of a first round pick. i think henne needs more than what a rookie receiver will bring to the table - and we have more needs besides that anyways. i wouldn't be all that upset if we got benn (or bryant i suppose) but there are guys i want much, much more than that. i'd personally rather wait and grab someone like tate in round 2 or possibly even 3.

there's still gonna be some FA receiver that's unhappy with their current situation and wouldn't mind coming to miami and being 'the man'. FA doesn't disappear just b/c next year is uncapped.

dude...tate is playing his way into round 1

good luck getting a young unhappy wr on a bargain deal (cause ireland won't make a trade otherwise) this offseason
 
FORGET DRAFTING A WR

Go after Marshall, Jackson, whoever . . . Hartline showed some improvement today . . . give the 2 youngsters a shot, along with the other young WR's on this team.

The only offense I wouldn't mind looking at early is TE.

I would definitely try going after one of the 2 big name ILB's in the first round . . . even the OLB's, but ILB first. Keep eyes looking at potential NT's.

once again in an uncapped year these guys aren't free agents
