our boy ricky williams #2...

Uhhh.... Ricky was pretty good last year too so idk how he'd be considered in top 10 for comeback players this year.
 
Looks like Ricky is on pace for around a 1100 yard season (if he averages about 75 YPG).
 
Ricky's story about how he was once the best RB in the NFL and retired, then came back and is absolutely killing it right now is what should make him the winner for this, Tom Brady came back from an injury, but is not playing up to the level he left off at, so I'd say he's overrated at #1, and Cedric Benson was never any good in the NFL, so what is it he's coming back from? this shouldn't even be an argument, if Ricky Williams doesn't win the NFL Comeback Player of the Year... well... well I'd be a little upset. I'm sure Ricky wouldn't think much of it if he didn't get it, but seriously... the man deserves it, look at his career, and his story in the NFL. No other player in the History of the NFL can match up to Ricky's story.
 
I agree with a few of the guys. Like Alex smith, Vince Young and maybe benson. But Favre come on.
 
It should be Brady.

Ricky shouldn't be considered, he was solid for us in a limited role last year and has been for a while now.

So in a season where he gets stashed behind Ronnie on the depth chart, he will probably wind up having more yards in a season than Ronnie has ever had in his career. :foundout:
 
doesn't 'comeback player' indicate that you are returning to being good...since when was Cedric Benson ever good??

Cedric Benson as comeback player of the year = FAIL

btw - Ricky Williams has 35 more yards from scrimmage, and 5 more TD's than Benson....all this on 59 less touches and avg 5 ypc to Benson's 4 ypc.
