So with Thomas and Timmons gone, we're 8 under...
 
I don't see how Wake survives the weekend.
 
Armando says we'll be busy in FA, which means Tannenbaum is saying it. I still don't see it, as we need to keep space for draft picks and in season injuries. Tannehill restructuring, James extension/trade/release, and Wake release are the only ways I see of generating any real money

maybe a little more than 8 with those two gone but we'll need 8mill for the draft
Also our kicker is a free agent and Denny, Fede,Thomas and Aiken are all free agents and that's the core of our ST's and Williams too

The James thing has to be solved one way or the other before we start free agency. That 9 million can't be there. Timmons/Thomas gone. I think Wake too. Do something with James. And the other thing we could do is dump Pouncey. If we are going to be active, Pouncey needs to go.
 
I believe James will go too and then it's either Wake or Pouncey imo. That's the only way to create more space

Yeah, me either. I’m sure they will work some creative math and contractual language in getting there, but then we will suffer for it down the road.
 
James and Pouncey are both gonna be shown the door. Wake isn't going anywhere especially with Landry leaving, I do think he restructures though and extends his deal. Tannehill will also get a restructure I hope.
 
I like how some people think our cap situation is okay because we can cut a bunch of starters. Good starters? No. But starters none-the-less.
 
I'm not suggesting James is cut. But 9 million? Classic restructure for him coming, hopefully.
 
The 2 most logical are an extension for Wake and a restructure for Tannehill. That could free up another $15m-$17m? In addition to the Timmons, James and Thomas cuts.
