I'm thinking we are in better shape then people have been reporting. We have brought in 2 guys in the last 2 days that wouldn't come cheap. On top of that we will make a run at Brees. Saban and Mueller must know something we don't. Or there bringing these guys in hopes that there is a CBA agreement.

Look at what Denver does every year. They are supposedly in cap trouble and always seem to pick up 5-6 big name FA's. The sports peolpe say they know how to manipulate the cap somehow.

See I agree..I think that if Saban is bringing these guys in to talk to them...He must be very confident that we can sign some of these guys. I think Saban knows something we don't. Perhaps he has already agreed with Taylor and Thomas to restructure or something. At any rate I think Saban knows what he is doing and will get the guy he wants

Its cause of no new CBA. All the NLTB incentives are being counted. If a new CBA is finalized then the caps increase and all the teams cap numbers decrease. Making it a great market for FA's...
