Our CB for next year...asomugha only 1 catch allowed so far?

dude asomugha has allowed only 1 catch so far this year and 2 passes that were his way were both deflected in week 2.

I think him at 1 and Allen at 2 would be a great combo. Cuz allen plays very very well vs number 1's. hes more of a number 2 so he can be a great number 2 in my opinion. Very underrated CB in the NFL cuz of what the Giants did to the kid.
I really hope miami goes after him if OAK donest resign/tag him again.
If we dont go for him I think we will go for the cheaper option in Gamble but does neone konw if gamble is a number 1 material or just a number 2?

Btw, ya'll know that finnegan from the titans was a 7th round pick? what a steal that was.

i doubt we will go after him. i think we will be looking at the draft for a corner next year. granted the guy is good but i think they need to continue to build this team for the future and drafting core position players is key to this team making it in the future. so far last year's draft is looking to be a good draft for this team.:beer1:
 
He's amazing. Only problem I could see is that last off-season the trifecta seemed to be going after players 26 and young (except for Wilford). So we'll see if they go after Asomugha even though he will be a mighty 28 years old. Bailey hit 29 years and started to slow down compared to what he once was. But, a guy like Al Harris is 33 and has only slowed down a tad because of injury, so we'll see. I've preached Asomugha's name for a long time now and I believe he is the best CB in the game, especially doing so well with a below average pass rush. I really wouldn't mind him at all.

That was definitley DeAngelo Hall covering Eddie Royal and Renaldo Hill is a Miami Dolphin. Asomugha has allowed 1 catch this season and only allowed 9 last season.

Is McFadden a FA next year or did he resign with Pitts? cuz i'd love to get that kid as well. he'll be cheaper then Asomugha for sure as well. Aso right now is the best CB in the game if not DB overall. NO one passes his way. last year only 38 passes went his way and only 7 were complete if i recall right. thats insane **** right htere mang.

WE have the money to spend so we might save the draft pick early, ship some cash towards a FA CB in gamble or mcfadden and use the high pick on LB's which i konw we will get a MLB and a OLB 100%. dont rule out a T or G either.
 
I REAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLY want REY REY in teh draft next year but i also want miami to win so im stuck here lmaoo. I think rey's personality and game will compliment Langford and Merling for the next 10 years tremendously. add a Mcfad or Aso in FA and u got urself a pretty darn good D building via the core .
 
yep it was hall on royal that night which was so good to watch. Hall's one of the most overated players in the league and he was embarrassed by a talented but undersized rookie and ended up giving away two personal fouls away in one drive through frustration. Asomugah is one of the best corners in the league even if those stats are slightly false because no teams are throwing his way this year, in the game against the broncos they threw his way once! He's worth the money, im all for building through the draft but you have to spend money as well and he's a player thats worth the money and fills a need for us.
 
anyone konw what injury duanta robinson had last year? b/c he is a FA next year and man is that kid a baller himself bust i noticed his size is small. this FO likes big physical DB's and I think Aso fits that mold far better then neone else in FA and the cheaper Chris gamble.

lol dude your way off its not even funny. First renaldo hill is a dolphin. second, deangelo hall was coverin him not scrable.

But seriousely, hes gonna command like 60 mill. Id much rather go after Chris Gamble. Only 25 years old, He's 6-1 200 pounds, and is a number 1 corner. Him and will allen would make for a very good duo
 
gamble is a number 1? if so then that fits well and save more money and drop the rest on a guy like TJ or Roy at WR or even a T like Colombo or my next favorite...Safety from the Jets :)
