Our Chances for Playoffs?

11/06/05 vs. Atlanta Falcons 1:00 PM
11/13/05 vs. New England Patriots 1:00 PM
11/20/05 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00 PM
11/27/05 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05 PM
12/04/05 vs. Buffalo Bills 1:00 PM
12/11/05 @ San Diego Chargers 4:15 PM
12/18/05 vs. New York Jets 1:00 PM
12/24/05 vs. Tennessee Titans 1:00 PM
01/01/06 @ New England Patriots 1:00 PM


How many games do we win from here on in and does it get us to the playoffs?
I say if we play to form we get 6 more wins, Patriots (2), Browns, Bills, Jets and Titans. That would get us to 9-7 which may be good enough to get to the playoffs if we can beat our East rivals.
If we can edge a close game with a piece of luck thrown in then i say we can beat either the Falcons or/and the Raiders. Same goes for losing those games as well though so im going for 9-7 which may be a long shot IMO but may also be a legitimate target.
Thoughts guys?
 
well if we beat the past twice as you say i think we'll get in cause most likely we'll win the division...
 
I think we have a better chance of beating either Oakland or Atlanta before we will beat the Pats twice
 
I think the Pats are very beatable. The Bills should have won the game last weekend imo. It was only the Bills passing game that stopped them from winning.The Pats run defense looked average.We beat them last season and we all know we are better than last yr. New England are not the same team that we expect. Injuries have killed them.
 
SLIM...but the Pats are no where the team they were and people need to understand this.. especially the Dolphins.

:yes: playing @ne is tough for any team, let alone the fins
 
I think the Dolphins should beat the Bills, Jets, Pats @ home at least, the Raiders, Browns and Titans, throw in an upset vs Falcons or Chargers or better yet Pats in Foxborough and we're lookin at sneakin in a wildcard
 
Panthers beat the Pats, we beat the Panthers
Broncos beat the Pats, we beat the Broncos
Pats got 41 points put past them by San Diego.
They have give up 180 points. Only 6 other teams have worse record.
Our weakness is beating Eastern rivals and until we do that we arnt going anywhere. Jets are poor, Bills are limited and Pats are not the same team. Never a better chance to win the division. Im not saying we are a good football team but i will say our rivals are banged up and not playing to their best so strike whilst the iron is hot i say.
 
We can only afford to lose 2-3 games. And we have to beat the Pats at least once.
 
I think our best shot at getting to the playoffs might be winning the divison. There are to many Wild Card hopeful that look like locks Bengals, Jags, Chargers, and Cheifs we will need 10 wins to get in as a Wild Card.

We have to win the division or we will not be in the playoffs. Realisticly we are already out as a wild card. Yes alive mathematically, that means little.
