nobody is talking about the dolphins this year and i think we have a shoot at being a pretty compative team this year, our offense has improved this year especilly if we pick up green who was in the pro bowl his last full season,our defense i think is better with the pick up of porter.We still have issues at db, but the bears have proven that with a ok offense and a great defense you can win. what is your opinio n on our chanses
 
Im happy about the defence because even with a 6-10 ecord last year our defence wasnt half bad... weve kept almost everyone from last years defence which includes defensive mvp Jason taylor, zack thomas, channing crowder, jason allen, yerimiah bell and a great new addition joey porter. the offence on the other hand is not much to be proud of.... if we get trent or if c-pep improves than maybe we can contend. We need a quarter back very very bad, ronnie brown is a good running back that has not had his breakut season yet but he is a young tough running back and very talented. our recievers are ok and our o-line is mediorcre. im thinking with a good and healthy qb maybey 9-7 or 10-6 and without a qb completely reversed at either 7-9 or 6-10
 
We have a very good team here, and noone gives us the time of day. We are going to surprise alot of people. So I say good, let us fly under the radar, its better that way.

Sorry, my vocabulary is not so good. What does "compative" mean? :unsure:
 
I think it all depends who are QB is. I think our defense keeps us in most games but we have to find ways to score more than 16 points a game. This is why I liked us taking T. Ginn with the 9th pick....he should give us good field position when he returns the ball....as long as he is healthy. :)

I wanna jump up and say we will suprise alot of people but, all the veteran players cut and released, the change of implimenting a new offence and so many rookies usually means it will take time for the team to gel. We do have a better starting defence and I think Cam was great to keep coach Capers to run it! At the end of the season I think we will be drafting another top 10 pick.
 
Seriously, all we need is some luck w/ this offense line and the QB situation . . . this is a super bowl defense . . . I'm expecting playoffs . . . but @ worst I am expecting to be in playoff contention throughout the whole season.
 
Im not getting my hopes up until Miami proves they can win. Last two seasons have been very dissapointing.

The expectations wont be nearly as high because we still haven't figured out our QB situation, and people feel like our line may have gotten weaker because we lost our starting LT and he is being replaced by someone who has struggled at LT in the past, and that someone was our very good RT . . . plus we still have that "aging" defense . . . so if I would guess the experts opinion for this season . . . it would probably be 6-10 . . . but I still feel we can make the playoffs w/ this team, if we get some luck @ OL and QB.
