This is about the third game this season where bad coverage has pushed us to play a close game. Someone needs to either hire someone qualified to refine this unit or they need to simply start putting in players that can properly perform their job during coverage. While this was a close win against the Raiders. We could have easily won the game if it weren't for another blown coverage.

I think you need to play some more players from the starting D. Other than Cobb and Allen...the whole coverage team is pathetic. Goes without saying the special teams coach needs to be fired. At minimum it makes a statement that it won't be put up with anymore.

That is not a bad idea due to the fact that some of these players are tackling badly and are always out of position in most plays. I think we need to have our team practice within this department. Or have all players watch tapes of Patrick Cobbs(special teams stud).

If we want to make our playoff run we can not continue to give up 30 to 40 yards on the kickoff returns or even returns for td's

Yeah Cobbs is a beast on special teams, but he is the only one.

If you watch the punt return though right when he catches the ball there is clearly a block in the back on Brandon London and again it isnt called.

maybe we should bring back Eddie Moore and Jamar Flecther ( kidding)

here is a question why not bring in 3 more wrs and two more big te's and three more linebackers Daniel Mclemore was a special teams ace who loved hitting and returning punts with style. it may be a good idea to bring in a couple of olinemen to help here too. just a thought.

Your absolutely right....i swear to God i called this **** on after week 1. The S.T. were clearly unprepared for that game and they blew it for us.

The Kicker and Punter arent so much the problem, as oh, i'd say the god forsaken coverage untis.
