our d line is looking really good and quick so far in preseason.. definatly odrick is... we got to do what detriot did in preseaon and get to him quick and put shot's on him and force turnover's.... if he has time back there to throw he will tear us up no matter how good out corner's are...

Yes our D looks good but if they dont generate enough pressure we are toast.

Detroit also exposed the NE defense for what it is. Weak. I would not be at all surprised if the Pats are one and done in the playoffs again.

We're just gonna have to wait for this one. Nolan never shows his exotic blitz packages during preseason. I have a feeling our D will be considerably better this year with Burnett, Odrick and Edds in the fold. One thing we share with Detroit is a solid D-line. If we can dominate the point of attack, we might be able to get to Brady like they did. Sure would like to hear more stories about our DB's hanging out around the Juggs machine though...

Yea our d line will need to have an impact..We have to stop the run and hit Brady early and often..JT and Wake should be able to punch Brady in the mouth..

Your right about this issue, but I hope your not expecting much pressure outside of what Cam Wake brings.

This issue was my hobby horse all off-season

It is for this reason that I believe the FO went in the completely wrong direction this off-season.

I hope so! Bring pressure often to Brady, but cover well. I don't think we can bring it on him and then let him get a 5 yarder that turns into a 20 yard play. Hopefully we have enough speed to git to him and cover his targets.

It wasn't just that Detroits Dline generated pressure. Suh is just ****ing nasty! He wanted to snap Bradys neck and it was obvious! It was in Bradys head and it showed, one play he came within inches of the finishing blow. Damnnnnnn you Suh try harder next time!

It's too bad. Suh is going to be Roger Goodell's newest fine magnet. He's just playing hard. I don't know of any defender that would hesitate to hit someone (unless you're like Eddie Moore or Sean Smith or something)
