Our D line has to dominate and punch brady in face like detriot did to win wk. 1

Totally agree, I also think we will need to create turnovers. Be aggressive and attack on both sides.

The Lions were doing it without blitzing, which I'm not sure we can do. It's the same way the Giants beat them in the Super Bowl; pressure from the front 4 leaving the LBs to back off and cover the crossing routes that they like to run. If we can get consistent pressure on Brady without needing to send 5-6 guys, I think we have a good chance of coming out with a win. If we have to blitz, Brady is going to kill us with his TEs and backs in the flats...

We're just gonna have to wait for this one. Nolan never shows his exotic blitz packages during preseason. I have a feeling our D will be considerably better this year with Burnett, Odrick and Edds in the fold. One thing we share with Detroit is a solid D-line. If we can dominate the point of attack, we might be able to get to Brady like they did. Sure would like to hear more stories about our DB's hanging out around the Juggs machine though...

And u dont think BB was running a vanilla off and still dropping all those pts?

Solai is no Suh.. Please!!! Suh is by far, the better player/athlete

Better athlete is laughable. Soliai ran .04 seconds slower than Suh at 40 pounds heavier. Soliai is the fastest 340+ lb man you will ever see. Also they play fundamentally different positions and I doubt Suh would be the same player in a 3-4.

I don't feel the whole game should be riding on our defensive fronts ability to get to Brady. Sure we need to get some pressure and it would be nice to be dominant but didn't one of our CB's just spout off about being part of the best CB tandem in the NFL? Don't we have 2 ILB's who are known for covering TE's and RB's out of the backfield? If Brady lights up this defense doesn't Vontae look stupid?

Sure there needs to be a rush but these guys should be able to hold up in coverage a little, I would think.

there are some new Olinemen in the interior i believe. you heard it here first, ochostinko.

wes welker had only 886 yds last year. He was hurt a few games. this is what happens to players who go over the middle alot. eventually, teams figure you out and you start taking a beating.

RB situation is interesting. Lots of guys, they cant keep them all. wouldnt be surprised if they just keep the same guys in Faulk, BJG-Ellis, and evelyn woodhead. that little bugger danny i would love soliai to pick his *** up and bodyslam him!

Im feeling it. Patriots will have a tougher time in the AFC East.

the oline is intact from last year although Connolly is injured right now. they drafted Marcus Cannon this past year and if he doesn't end up on the PUP he'll push for the starting RG spot.

Welker admitted he wasn't 100% before the season last year and had a down season by his standards but he's had a great camp and is apparently completely healed from the acl injury. for all the talk of how he had a down season he was still one of the best slot receivers in the league last year and had more yards and TD's than Bess who's a great slot receiver in his own right. As far as the running game goes, Faulk is going to the PUP, morris is basically the fullback and both Vereen and Ridley will make the team and contribute.

Brady needs to tear an ACL ASAP!!!
As much as I would love seeing that happen from a football standpoint, there isn't anyone in the league I would wish an injury on. Except Mark Sanchez. **** him.
